Meet Tejas

Tejas Athni is an MD-PhD candidate at Harvard Medical School. Originally from Macon, Georgia, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with an MS in Epidemiology, BA in Political Science, and BS in Biology, earning honors and distinction.

With more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, Tejas’ work has appeared in scientific journals and textbooks across various fields. He is a recipient of the Goldwater Scholarship, the Stephen Fox Award, the Neuroscience Research Prize from the American Academy of Neurology, the Coca-Cola Scholarship, and the American Statistical Association Award from the International Science & Engineering Fair. He has presented his research at national conferences and public speaking venues such as TEDxPeachtree.

In his free time, Tejas enjoys distance running, line dancing, country swing dancing, and calisthenics.
