Tejas Athni is an MD-PhD candidate at Harvard Medical School. Originally from Macon, Georgia, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with an MS in Epidemiology, BA in Political Science, and BS in Biology, earning honors and distinction.
Tejas has 35+ publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and textbooks across multiple fields, including Ecology Letters, npj Digital Medicine, Nature Communications, and Developmental Cell. He is a recipient of the Goldwater Scholarship, Stephen Fox Award, AAN Neuroscience Research Prize, and American Statistical Association Award. He has presented his research at national conferences and venues such as TEDxAtlanta (formerly TEDxPeachtree).
In his free time, Tejas enjoys distance running, calisthenics, line dancing, and country swing.
