Tejas Athni is an MD-PhD candidate at Harvard Medical School. Originally from Macon, Georgia, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with an MS in Epidemiology, BA in Political Science, and BS in Biology, earning honors and distinction.
Tejas has published 30+ articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks across multiple fields, including npj Digital Medicine, Ecology Letters, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, Annals of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, Emergency Medicine Journal, Head & Neck, and Nature Communications. He is a recipient of the Goldwater Scholarship, Stephen Fox Award, AAN Neuroscience Research Prize, and American Statistical Association Award. He has presented his research at national conferences and venues such as TEDxAtlanta (formerly TEDxPeachtree).
In his free time, Tejas enjoys distance running, calisthenics, line dancing, and country swing.
